Do you want to learn to surf in Mexico?
Our surf lessons are real surf coaching experiences. We strive to give you more than riding a few waves.
We are inspired by the work of Surf Simply in Costa Rica. Their three of knowledge is exemplary and because they made it free, we used it to outline our surf coaching experience.
We give you the basis to understand surfing, to know how to behave in the ocean and to follow surfing etiquette so that you can even start practicing surfing on your own.
Our favorite place to provide our surf lessons is Playa la Lancha, just a few km away from Punta de Mita.
There are multiple reasons for this, the main one, being a less crowded beach and more waves for our students.
This what you’ll get:
A 3 hours Surf coaching Experience with our ISA Level II certified coach.
Theory lesson on the beach for beginners
We will spend the first 30 minutes on the beach teaching you about:
- waves
- currents
- surf etiquette
- how to paddle out to the lineup safely
- where to position yourself to catch the best waves
- how to paddle to catch a wave
- the popup
- how to turn with trimmings and carvings
Ride your first white water waves
Our coaches will take you in a position close to the shore, where waves are already broken and they’ll help you catch them to practice the take-off and adjust your balance.
Thanks to the gentle waves of our bay, we will guarantee that all of our customers will be able to ride at least one wave successfully or you will get your money back.
Surfing your first green waves
Experienced swimmers with a good sense of balance that want to feel the thrill of catching a bigger unbroken wave will be able to do so.
Our coach will be behind you all the time ensuring you have the utmost fun while feeling totally safe.
For Intermediate and Expert surfers
We know where the best waves of the day are. We’ll take you surfing in the ideal place and we’ll help you have the best possible surfing experience in the Puerto Vallarta Bay or a bit up north in the Bahia de Banderas – Riviera Nayarit.
