We... read more had a group of nine ranging from 13 to 49 most of which had only surfed once before. Mara provided transportation from our Hard Rock Vallarta to the surf shop where we met Roberto. Roberto picked out all the surf boards for the group and we hiked the short trail to La Lancha beach. Roberto provide a short surf lesson on the beach and then took the group into the water. He had our whole group riding waves within minutes. My family had a great day and it was a highlight of our trip to Mexico. Mara stayed on the beach the whole morning providing snacks, water and encouragement for our group while Roberto made sure everyone was catching waves and learning how to surf properly. Mara and Paolo took 150 pictures of the family surfing and shared these to us. Overall, it was a great morning that exceeded my expectations and provided a lifetime experience for my family.
