We provide our surf lessons at Playa La Lancha. A pristine white-sanded beach located 45 minutes away from Puerto Vallarta’s Marina.
Playa La Lancha warm turquoise waters and fantastic mellow waves are ideal for an unforgettable surfing experience.
The lessons usually last approx 2.5 hours, the tour in total will take +4 hours.
A true Surf Coaching Experience
Our level 2 certified ISA surf instructor and his team of coaches will provide a theory class on the beach, to teach you the fundamentals of Surfing.
How to paddle through the waves safely, how to position yourself, how to pop-up and how to behave in the lineup (Surf Etiquette). All things that will help you catch more waves.
With a ratio of 1 coach every 4 adults (or 2 children), we will take you in the ideal spot to catch your first few white water waves.
If you are a good swimmer and are up for the challenge, we will help you catch your first unbroken green waves.

Why not giving the lesson in a Puerto Vallarta beach?
Puerto Vallarta has several miles of shores. However, surfable waves in Puerto Vallarta rarely break.
When they break, they are definitely not suitable for beginners and surf lessons.

Playa la Lancha was one of the most beautiful beaches I had ever seen. Remote and pristine, you have to walk through the jungle for more than 5 minutes to reach it (lots of mosquitos!). We were 5 in total and there were 2 instructors plus 1 younger guy, who I’d qualify as an assistant, taking care of our group. The lesson was extremely professional and we were all able to stand up and surf some decent size waves. The experience was so strong and emotional that I become friends with 2 of the guys of my group. We saw each other every day of our vacation after the surf lesson. Next year we are traveling all back together to Puerto Vallarta to do a full surf camp with the Green Lagoon guys. I honestly can’t wait.
